
Plane Crash in India: Over 240 Feared Dead on London-Bound Flight

A plane crash in India has claimed hundreds of lives. The Air India flight AI171 was traveling from Ahmedabad to London. Unfortunately, it crashed shortly after takeoff.
The aircraft was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It was carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members. As of now, more than 240 people are feared dead.
According to witnesses, the plane exploded as it hit the ground. It crashed in the Meghani Nagar district. As a result, several nearby buildings caught fire, including a student hostel.
Soon after, emergency teams arrived at the scene. Firefighters and rescuers worked quickly. Meanwhile, hospitals prepared for incoming patients. Some people were pulled alive from the wreckage.
